COI 4 1 Weatherford™ tool available for processing in Image processing wizard: Images produced by the tool COI 4 1 from Weatherford™ can now be processed in Techlog with the Image processing wizard.

GenAI - Technology preview

A GenAI plugin is now available in a beta version. To enable it, please contact support. The plugin offers the following features:

• Import unstructured data with AI: Run agents to extract information from documents (.pdf, .tiff, .png, and so on) and import the information into Techlog.

• Tune and apply a Log Foundation model to predict reservoir properties.

Global zonation

There are two enhancements to Global zonation:

• The Global zonation window interface has been enhanced to improve the display of colors and patterns.

• You can now manually edit the hierarchy and zone order directly from the Global zonation window. This eliminates the need to open a LogView.

Ocean

a New API has been added that uses mnemonic selection with a method that is not an AWI.

3D Petrophysics for high angle well evaluation — Automatic Initialization of 3DP Local Layer

Geometry from ExpertDip Zone Images

You can now automatically initialize 3DP local layer geometry using ExpertDip zone images generated from borehole image interpretation with Techlog’s ExpertDip plug-in. This enhancement streamlines the integration of geological insights into petrophysical workflows, enabling more accurate and efficient interpretation, particularly in high-angle and horizontal wells.

Python

• Python compiler has been upgraded to 3.12.8 to cover a security vulnerability.

• New Python APIs to manipulate multi well 3D cross plot.

• New Python APIs to set parameters as variables and property in AWI.

• New Python APIs to update mnemonic selection of an already open AWI.

• New Python APIs to insert a histogram in LogView in a dip track.

Studio

• Highlight corresponding item for large repositories: For large Studio repositories, a display issue has been fixed when using Highlight Corresponding Item. Prior to this fix, selected data was correctly highlighted but not displayed in the visible part of the Project Browser or Repository Browser, as a scroll mechanism was missing to display the selected data.

• Repository Browser - Filter now applies on the fly: A new setting now controls how to apply a filter from the Repository Browser Filter menu. You can now do this by a mouse click, or on the fly. To access the setting, on the Project tab, in the Options group, click Studio, and then click Repository browser filter.

When you select On click, you must click Apply filter to apply the filter. When you select Auto apply, the filter is applied on the fly.

Techplot – New generation of plot (Technology preview)

This is phase one of the new data management interface. In this phase, template input is managed through menus with enhanced search capabilities.
