FracCADE is a numerical hydraulic fracture simulator featuring economic optimization, proppant schedule generation, single and multiple fracture growth modeling, and acid fracturing. The application also includes realtime capabilities to monitor fracture growth on location in real time.

CFW (CADE for Windows) applications are used in the oilfield service industry to evaluate services and propose the most cost-effective, highest yield service treatment. CFW is the framework upon which the Computer Assisted Design applications (CADEs) are built.

This framework can be used with other similar Schlumberger products. CFW offers flexibility in data exchange between modules and applications. A single set of data can be entered and several applications can use it to create output.

Other miscellaneous modules included in FracCADE are a bottomhole pressure calculator, analysis of pumping tests and pressure records, an additives and foam calculator, a pricing tool, a tubing movement calculator, and a log analysis tool.
