JewelSuite™ 8 GeoMechanics provides a proven workflow to help you optimize your well plans and define a safe operating window to maximize drilling performance, minimize drilling risk and improve safety. With it, you can create geomechanical models and analyze wellbore stability from well logs and drilling data. It replaces the functionality provided by GMI WellCheck and GMI ModelBuilder and adds additional advanced functionality, including real-time WITSML.

STABView - a software program for wellbore stability, sand production, lost circulation and discontinuity slip risk analysis. STABView was developed for technical drilling, completion, production and exploration personnel to conduct rapid parametric analyses for a wide range of near-wellbore integrity problems. Efficient, rapidly converging, analytical and semi-analytical algorithms are used to solve the fundamental equations that describe the stresses, pore pressures, and temperature distributions for near-wellbore problems. Additional information regarding these models is included in Section 4 of this manual.

All communication to the reservoir is via the near wellbore and hence is influenced by near-wellbore effects – this should be understood and mitigated from being the weak link in production/injection. Elfen wellbore encompasses all near wellbore applications such as; stress, stability and loss circulation, fines migration and mud-cake modelling, sanding analysis and prediction, sand screens and advanced completions systems design, near wellbore fracture and damage prediction. نرم افزار Stonefish که در قالب پلاگین برای نرم افزار Petrel ارائه شده یک نرم افزار 1D Geomechanics می باشد که برای ساخت 1D Mechanical Earth Model (1D-MEM) و تجزیه و تحلیل پایداری چاه یا wellbore stability analysis در نرم افزار Petrel استفاده می شود. Stonefish این امکان را برای کاربران فراهم می کند که مدل های 1D-MEMs ساخته شده را با سایر نرم افزارهای شرکت Schlumberger ماننده Osprey Risk, FracCADE به اشتراک بگذارید. این نرم افزار با پترل 2009 اجرا خواهد شد و کلا نرم افزار Stonefish تا Petrel 2011 ارائه شده و بعد از آن می توان از ماژول های Drilling نرم افزار Techlog استفاده کرد.
