The DecisionSpace® 365 Petrophysics (the 365 denotes iEnergy compatibility/compliance) software is a complete package for petrophysicists, geologists and reservoir engineers for controlling interpretation. This document contains important information about the fixed issues in the DecisionSpace® 365 Petrophysics software 10ep5.6.00. It also lists the new features available in the DecisionSpace® 365 Petrophysics software 10ep5.6.00. The software is also available via LSM as DecisionSpace® Petrophysics.

Geomechanics

DecisionSpace® 365 Petrophysics 10ep5.6.00 includes a major enhancement for the geomechanics module:

• New Wizard for Shear Failure Stress Analysis calculations.

The new module includes a multi-step wizard approach to calculate shear failure stress gradient from several different methodologies. This release includes the Calculate elastic fracture initiation pressure method.

The Mohr-Coulomb failure condition, Drucker-Prager failure condition, Stassi-d’Alia failure condition and Modified Lade failure condition methods will be including in a future release of DecisionSpace® 365 Petrophysics.

The implementation has been inspired by the successful Drillworks® software, these methodologies have been valued by Landmark clients.

The DecisionSpace® Petrophysics software is the industry's first comprehensive petrophysical solution, from acquisition to reservoir characterization. The application is built on Landmark’s DecisionSpace® Enterprise E&P platform, and is based on industry standard project and corporate borehole data management. It also offers a complete end- to-end formation evaluation integrated solution for reservoir definition, from Acquisition - > ' Single ' -> ‘Multi-Well ' -> to Reservoir Scale. It also leverages the rich 2D/3D environment for asset teams.

The DecisionSpace® Petrophysics software enables continuous and iterative collaboration of real-time subsurface well log data and analytics across both geoscience and engineering workflows. You no longer a need to shift, export or manipulate borehole and log data when information is commonly available across asset team members through a single integrated, enterprise E&P platform.

Operators are now able to load, process, QC and perform petrophysical analysis on a single platform to eliminate data duplication and errors during transfers. The integrated end-to-end DecisionSpace® Petrophysics solution provides the essential looped workflow in 3D between subsurface interpretation, log analysis, and imaging.

The ability to integrate and dynamically update structural and 3D models while performing log analysis in the same integrated environment accelerates and eliminates errors.

DecisionSpace® Petrophysics provides a complete “Acquisition to Reservoir Characterization” solution.

For Wireline activities that acquire real-time log data, data clean-up, and process logs, the delivery leverages Landmark’s DSDQ (Data Quality), DropSite (web-based wizard for uploading data from a central site, while tracking data during loading workflow) and Raven for data management standards.

For domain interpretation and evaluation, the end-to-end formation evaluation tools that cover the following domains:

• Rock Physics (Acoustic Waveform)

• Geomechanics (Wellbore Stability, Pore Pressure, Sandpit3D – rock failure in sandstone reservoirs).

• Geology – Image Analysis, Rock Typing

• Petrophysics – Mineral Volumes, TOC Calculations, Saturation Height Modeling, Flow Units, 3D Mineral Solver, Monte Carlo Analysis, Curve Prediction, and Self-Organizing maps.

• Reservoir Engineering – Formation Test Analysis, Saturation Height Modeling, Hydraulic Flow Units)

DecisionSpace® Petrophysics Software for Shale Reservoirs

Now petrophysicists, geologists, and reservoir engineers working on any unconventional play can leverage DecisionSpace® Petrophysics to better evaluate hydrocarbon saturation in shale reservoirs. Total Organic Carbon (TOC) calculations can be performed from density relationships. Multiple density relationships are used to predict TOC and combined through averaging. In addition, the density and Neutron porosity equations in Phi/Sw module have been modified to include the wt% and volumes of TOC (Kerogen) and Heavy Mineral (e.g. Pyrite, Apatite) to allow the correct determination of porosity and hydrocarbon volume in the pore space.

The following options are available for unconventional reservoir evaluation:

• Rock Mechanics: The Rock Mechanics Module computes dynamic rock mechanical properties and horizontal to vertical stress ratio based upon bulk density, sonic p-wave travel time, and sonic s-wave travel time. In addition, an estimate of the static Young’s Modulus based upon a correlation is included.

• Fluid Properties: The Fluid Properties module computes fluid properties based upon pressure and temperature as a function of depth, water salinity by zone.
