This release has been designed with user convenience in mind – from enhanced automation and new petrophysical functionalities, to increased openness through expanded connectivity to the Open Group Open Subsurface Data Universe™ (OSDU™). Geolog 21 also includes new and enhanced functionality to technologies that support additional markets, such as carbon capture and storage (CCS), geothermal energy, radioactive waste disposal and mining.

The Techlog wellbore software platform has been continually developed and tested for the last 20 years. The result is a leading wellbore-centric platform that is faster, with better usability and stability. With this new release, we are continuing our journey toward reliability and extensibility; offering usability improvement on zonation, annotation management, and upgrading KMOD workflow into Automatic Workflow Interface (AWI) engine. On the domain side, we continue to support 3D petrophysics workflow improving the auto population of tool settings and borehole parameters for forward modeling and inversion; as well as updating the environmental corrections algorithm and adding the support of trendlines for QElan computation.
