VISTA 2023 desktop seismic data processing software provides data processing from early acquisition QC to final processing and interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data acquired on land, offshore, or vertical seismic profile (VSP) in all industry and manufacturer data formats. With VISTA software, you can easily navigate workflows, and seamlessly evaluate datasets using numerous interactive and interlinked displays. You can also add in your own algorithms through a C++, Python, or MATLAB SDK interface. The software supports advanced processing capabilities, including AVO and AVA analysis, multicomponent processing, and complete 2D and 3D VSP QC and processing.

 

 

VISTA software is available in four modules: VISTA Field QC, VISTA Field Processing, VISTA Full Processing, and VISTA VSP.

VISTA Field QC is used in the field to perform rapid QC and simple processing through to brute stack.

VISTA Field Pro package provides additional tools for more sophisticated QC requirements, including post-stack migration.

VISTA Full Pro offers a complete QC and processing solution with all the field capabilities and it includes post-stack line-tie and data merge, pre-stack migration, and time and depth image analysis.

VISTA VSP can be used for complete VSP QC and processing.

-      Available as an add-on or as a 2D VSP standalone or 3D VSP standalone license.

-      The 3D VSP standalone option includes functionality appropriate for 2D and 3D VSP QC and processing.

VISTA 2023 Release updates:

New styling functionality within the flow window to provide helpful information when creating multi-threaded flows, using trace by trace or ensemble multi-threading.

-      new icon enables/disables the flow connection display mode

-      display links between flow commands in different colors and different line styles to signify status and purpose

-      Flow command titles include a background color to signify status and purpose

Improved Vista software program logging to store more logs and provides numerous log levels

Added history for files created in interactive windows

Vista software can read SPS files containing comment lines

Customized SPS dialog for header and VSP geometry windows

New flow commands

extracts shot records from continuous data records using shot start times from the input text file

converts strain or strain rate DAS data to particle velocity data

calculates complex AVO product indicators

Flow command enhancements include:

MtStart and MtEnStart

Increased maximum number of threads

Added a warning if number of threads exceeds physical processor count

Use flow variable strings in output directory name

Automatically creates output dictionary if none found

New option to set user defined parameters for graph display

Output SEG-D revisions 2.0, 2.1 or 3.0

EG-D revision 3—save shot point/line numbers to trace header extensions if general block is not available

Jobs in queue will begin executing after aborting batch jobs, previously this did not happen

When communication is lost, the main Vista software instance waits until the process ends before launching another batch process

Fixed an issue where velocity functions allowed user to add out of range picks

Fixed crash if user deletes one by one all defined mutes, in the mute options dialog

Corridor stack panel change display parameters problem (read headers) fixed

Fixed bug when removing multiple control points.

Updating control points when defining polygon region in QC   velocity map now deactivates that tool (previously toolbar became inaccessible).

Fixed crash that could occur if out of range picks are present and moveout method is set to anisotropic finite difference.

Velocity/eta functions dialog:

Force picks allows one pick for a given time.

Force picks removes any existing picks within the manual minimum time picking gap (to ensure the gap is enforced).

Added option to remove existing pick above/below top/bottom pick to force picks

Mass change picks (top/bottom) was removing an extra pick in error in some circumstances.

Added keyboard shortcuts for use in edit controls everywhere in Vista software (CNTRL+X, CNTRL+C, CNTRL+V)

Automatically resizing child windows when resizing main Vista software window

Disallow windows to close while still in use

Fixed write corruption issues when writing text files
